We operate on a month to month basis because we believe in providing the best value and service and letting the work speak for itself. You wouldn’t ask someone to marry you on your first date, so why sign a 12-month contract with an unproven agency?
If your agency wants you to commit to a service contract you need to ask them to explain why. We’ve heard many horror stories of clients needing to mortgage their homes to pay for expensive service agreements that fall well short of all the grand promises made during the initial sales pitch. Once a client has been locked in, many agencies simply don’t deliver on the agreed service levels, and more importantly, the results that they had guaranteed.

We understand that this is a results-driven industry. It seems that everyone is promising to get your business on page 1 of Google. However, anyone can appear on page 1 of Google for obscure longtail keywords that no one searches for. Our advice is, be a little bit more inquisitive about what is being promised and how it will be achieved. Some examples of questions that you should ask your agency include:

  • “Page 1 for what keywords?”
  • “Are these the right keywords for my business?”
  • “What are the traffic volumes for these keywords, when compared to other keywords that may be far more valuable for my business?”
  • “What strategies will be employed to achieve these results”?

During our discovery stage, we will agree on a set of keywords that will make a real difference to your business. Most importantly, if we do not meet any of our keyword guarantees we will work for free until we do!
